How to Use Coconut Oil?

If you are using coconut oil for topical purposes, especially hair care, just melt the oil (if it is solid), in the sun, or in warm water. Put oil in your palm and apply to your hair. For internal consumption, simply replace butter or vegetable oils with coconut oil in your recipes & for cooking. Remember, don’t switch to coconut oil completely, or you won’t get the benefits of other oils and dairy products.
